New Features:

AutoDefine: The powerful feature is now available from the Page Menu. It automatically searches the page and highlights terms that are defined in other sections. You can then click on those terms and the definition will popup in a small window.

Currently, AutoDefine is only available for the Arizona Revised Statutes, but soon it will be implemented for the Arizona Rules of Court as well.

Features Available Now:

Crosslinked citations: All areas of law are crosslinked, which means that references to other sections of law are linked so that the user can go directly to that area of law.

Highlighting: On each page the user can highlight words or phrases so that they can be easily found in large sections of text.

Text search: Rapid Legal Research has a powerful and versatile text search engine that will help you find exactly what you are looking for in the law. You can search the Arizona Constitution, Arizona Revised Statutes and the Arizona Rules of Court all at once or only the parts you want.

Law Directory: The Law Directory is a comprehensive and expandable outline of all available law in the Rapid Legal Research database. From the Law Directory you can choose specific areas of law to search, view the table of contents or simply go to the first provision.

QuickJump: The QuickJump feature allows the user to jump directly to the law he wants to see. It supports a simple, easy to remember citation format in addition to special keywords. Want to see the kidnapping statutes but can't remember the section number? Just type "kidnapping" and it will take you straight to the first kidnapping statute.

Help System: Each feature has its own help section where you can learn how to use the feature.

Page Menu: The Page Menu is a simple menu above the main text area. It is a central location for various features that can be activated with the click of a mouse.

Custom Context Menu: Rapid Legal Research has a custom context menu for the main text window. After you activate the custom context menu, when you right click you can access various functions like selecting a word and performing an instance text search. You will be able to deactivate this option and access the normal context menu at any time.

Features Coming Soon:

Print law: This option will allow you to print the currently viewed law.

Copy entire text: By clicking on this option on the Page Menu, the entire text displayed in the main window will be copied so you can paste it into a another document, like a word processor.

Save as a Word document: With this option you will be able to save the currently viewed law as a correctly formatted Microsoft Word document.

Save as a PDF: With this option you will be able to save the currently viewed law as a PDF file (Portable Document Format).
